Dr. Arthur Szabela has devoted to three matters in his life: his family, his professional training and his practice. His practice reflects his dedication in numerous ways which ultimately benefit You, the patient. Patients are always treated with genuine concern and professionalism who receive custom tailored treatment options that are supported with extensive and current knowledge of dentistry. His professional experience and continuous training uniquely qualify Dr. Szabela to recommend optimal treatment plans in order to obtain the best possible outcome for his patients seeking to rejuvenate their new smile.

Dr. Szabela received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2007. Since completing his formal training from NYU, Dr. Szabela has been working in private practice treating families throughout New Jersey. In Spring of 2012, Dr. Szabela opened his state-of-the-art dental practice: Garden State Dental Design, in Clark, N.J., focusing on aesthetic rehabilitations and implant dentistry. Dr. Szabela stays current with today’s advanced technology making virtual smile makeovers a reality by having the patient preview their new smile before starting treatment. Patients can be rest assured that their comprehensive treatment plan is designed and verified to achieve precise results giving You the confidence that all facets of treatment to be undertaken are seamlessly planned.

Dr. Szabela’s post-graduate certifications include Master clinician in implant dentistry from Loma Linda University and the Global Institute for Dental Education:(LLU/ gIDE). Master Program in Fixed Prosthodontics focusing on Aesthetic and Functional Rehabilitation at the ACE Institute in Pesaro, Italy. Additionally, advanced bone and soft tissue grafting procedures from the prestigious BTI Institute in Vitoria, Spain, training with world-renowned implant specialists. Dr. Szabela completed advanced training in the field of cosmetic dentistry at the UCLA School of Dentistry, attaining cutting edge skills for comprehensive aesthetic treatment planning, techniques, materials and smile make-over procedures. Furthermore, Dr. Szabela completed advanced training in the field of Fixed Orthodontics and TMJ/TMD treatment. Dr. Szabela holds a certification in IV Conscious Sedation, being one of only a handful of general dentists in the State of NJ to offer this service to his patients.

Dr. Ferraro earned a Bachelor of Science in human physiology at Rutgers University, where she graduated Cum Laude and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She completed a General Practice residency with New York Medical College at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where she received extensive training in head and neck trauma as well as in IV sedation and complex and cosmetic dentistry. She has also performed full mouth rehabilitations for special needs patients under general anesthesia.
Dr. Ferraro completed training on functional orthopedic appliance therapy and on orthodontic treatments with Pace University. She enjoys treating children and adults.

Dr. Ferraro is energetic and compassionate. She is committed to creating a comfortable experience for anxious patients.

When she’s not in the office, she’s most likely breaking a sweat at the gym, getting her fix for live music, or catching a flight to somewhere exciting!

Dr. Stephen Pou is a general dentist from Northern New Jersey whose clinical focus is regenerative, rehabilitative, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Pou has been consistently recognized for a thorough, patient-focused approach and has excelled in providing an exceptional yet continually improving dental experience. Centered by a patient-doctor partnership approach, Dr. Pou efficiently communicates and educates patients on their dental conditions to develop a tailored plan for treatment.

Prior to joining the GSDD team, Dr. Pou received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairfield University, then continued his post-baccalaureate studies at Seton Hall University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry. Throughout his time at NYU Dental, he held multiple mentorship and teaching assistant roles and, in conjunction with Bellevue Hospital, provided care to victims of abuse and torture. Dr. Pou continues his dental training through rigorous specialized programs focused on implantology provided by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and other advanced training centers. He is also an active member of Spear Education and his local Spear Study Club, Academy of General Dentistry, and New Jersey Dental Association. He implements modern techniques in restorative treatment, orthodontic therapy to align teeth using Invisalign, endodontic cases, surgical procedures to augment and guide bone growth, and replacement of teeth using implants.

When not in the office, you would likely find Dr. Pou in the outdoors as he loves to hike and fish. When at home, he is roasting coffee beans, making pizza doughs, or listening to a great album.
